Travis Tolbert is a strength and conditioning coach for high-performance junior tennis players. Travis has 10+ years of experience consistently producing high school/USTA state champions, regional, and national qualifiers in the state of Louisiana. He recognizes the importance of the proper integration of fitness and the collaboration needed that lead to a tennis athlete’s success.

Travis brings a wealth of knowledge to the team with influences from the teachings of world-renown tennis fitness coaches Jez Green and Pat Echeberry with foundational ex. phys. education under Mike Boyle. He has certifications with the American College of Sports Medicine, The Cooper Institute, Z-Health Essentials of Elite Performance, and TRX Suspension & Rip Trainer. Most importantly, he has an eye for detail and a knack for connecting well with athletes.

In 2014, Travis was asked to become a senior editor for Acadiana Active Magazine, a magazine utilizing top fitness professionals in South Louisiana to deliver educational content on specific fitness topics. He is a former track and cross-country athlete at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX with B.D. in Kinesiology.

Owner of Rise Fitness & Conditioning, Travis provides elite-level structure and programming for junior level tennis athletes through his IOS app platform. He also travels to select locations to personal train tennis athletes in-person. He walks the athlete and family through the commitment, focus, and discipline needed to reach NCAA, ITF, and ATP level.
